A Claude Code cockpit and a browser · macOS · BSD-3

Every other tool picks two. Nemesis keeps all five.

Keyboard-driven, text-driven, LLM-friendly, safe by construction, best practices by default. Nemesis is Claude Code and the web in one window, driven entirely from the keys, in the tradition of Nyxt.

Marks come from each project's own README and docs, read 2026-OCTOBER-17 to 20. The full table, with 18 projects and more columns, is in docs/comparison.org.

02 · What only Nemesis does
M-x

Every action is a command

Bound to a key, findable in a prompt buffer, rebindable in init.ts. The mouse is optional.

C-s

The transcript is text

A real buffer you search, copy and edit, saved as Org. Not scrollback, not chat bubbles.

y / n

Pages cannot steer the agent

Page text reaches Claude labelled untrusted. Every click, keystroke or navigation it asks for waits for your yes.

MCP

Other agents can drive it

Its whole command table is an MCP server, so Codex, Goose or another Claude can work it too.

03 · Where Nemesis loses, honestly

Claude only. Goose and agent-shell run many agents. Other engines are planned over ACP.

macOS only. Nyxt and qutebrowser run on Linux.

One user. Min and Nyxt have years of strangers using them daily.

Unsigned. You build it from source; the official app updates itself.
